TP Turkey

Exciting news here, you still have time to get some decorations ready for the Thanksgiving holiday. All you need are a few craft supplies to make your own little TP (toilet paper) Turkey. This would be a great craft for someone who isn't making an actual Turkey but may want to join in on the excitement, including but not limited to: college students, vegans/vegetarians, someone who just can't cook, etc. This way you can tell all of your friends & family that you actually made a Turkey this year for Thanksgiving - just please, please don't really eat it! But really, it's a great craft for kids. All you need are the following:

Scissors
Glue
Feathers-KAYSO Turkey Quill Feathers
Scrapbook Paper/Construction Paper (orange & black)
Googly Eyes-Peel & Stick Wiggle Eye Sheets: Black 49 Piece Set
Pom pom-Pepperell Assorted Pom Poms, Hot Colors, 300 Per Package
Empty Toilet Paper Roll

1.) Paint the TP roll & let dry for 10 mins
2.) Cut a 2.5 in diameter circle (I used a fall colored scrapbook paper for this)
3.) Glue and array of colored feathers on the paper
3.) Glue the entire paper & feathers to the TP roll
4.) Cut out small triangle for beak and some feet
5.) Cut out 1.5 & .5 in diameter circle in black and also a strip that will be rolled up for the top part of his hat. Glue all the pieces together and top with the .5 in circle
6.) Stick on the eyes & glue on his red gobble

And there you have it - your very own Thanksgiving Turkey!
